Is AI Really Taking Away Jobs?
Is AI Really Taking Away Jobs?
This is probably one of the most common questions people ask today. Is AI reducing job opportunities for young people?
From my experience, the answer is yes, but only to a certain extent.
As the CEO of FIXITSOL, I have seen how AI has changed the way we work. Two years ago, I had a team of seven employees. Today, we have a team of three, and we are still delivering projects faster and with better quality than before. The reason is simple. AI has become a powerful tool that helps us save time, improve productivity, and complete tasks that once took days in just a few hours.
Does that mean AI has replaced people? Not at all.
AI can write code, generate ideas, and speed up development, but it cannot understand a client’s vision, solve every complex problem, or make business decisions on its own. It still needs skilled professionals who know how to guide it, review its work, and turn its output into a real solution.
I believe AI is not taking jobs away from talented people. It is changing the kind of skills that companies need. The people who will succeed are not the ones who compete with AI, but the ones who learn how to use it effectively.
Technology has always changed the way we work. AI is simply the next chapter. Instead of being afraid of it, we should learn it, adapt to it, and use it to create even bigger opportunities for ourselves and for the businesses we build.
